Nasa kalagitnaan ako ng aking pagsusulat (note: nagkukumahog na pagsusulat) ng aking proposal nang natigilan ako dahil sa isang salita. Alam ko ibig nung sabihin at ang rules sa paggamit nun, pero ang hindi ko maisip ay kung anong part of speech yun.
At ang word na 'yun ay.... dyarrrrraaaaaannnnnnnn!!!
"Taga-"
... as in "Taga-saan ka? Taga-Laguna." hahaha!
Sabi dun sa nakita kong source sa net, "Taga-" daw is a noun-forming prefix meaning 'a native of' or 'coming from'. Diba kapag sinabi mong "Taga-Laguna ako", most likely kaakibat niya yung ethno-linguistic background mo. Meaning kung "taga-Laguna" ka, malamang Tagalog ka at dun ang hometown mo. (I still have to research kung tama ito sa lahat ng pagkakataon o hindi, sa tingin ko hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon kasi pwedeng Bisaya ka na taga-Baguio, yung ganun ba! hehehe).
Ayun. That's the preview of the 20% of my thesis topic. Hahaha... Pero nawindang talaga ko diyan sa word na yan ha. Pero buti na lang naliwanagan na ako, at least dun kung anong tawag sa kanya. Pero dun sa konteksto niya at mga kaakibat niyang kaetchosan na mahalaga sa thesis topic ko, hindi ko pa rin masyado magets! haaayyyy...
Yun lang. ☺☺☺

The Charms of Pinoys
In a recent international convention of coffee-producing nations, the Philippine delegation was trying to come up with a credible statement, to prove that the country has indeed contributed something significant to the coffee world.
It was time for the presentations.
The Colombian delegate boasted: "We have the best coffee beans, bar none!"
The Japanese representative humbly reported: "Japan has refined coffee production to make people enjoy coffee more."
The American delegate trumpeted: "America has the best and the most number of brands of regular and instant coffee, supported by the most modern means of production."
Then the head of the RP delegation stood up and declared proudly: "The Philippines invented the two-hour coffee break!"
Proud to be a Filipino.
