Last Saturday, sa Bangkok ako nag-church. After 5 months, dun ulit ako nakasimba. Madalas kasing wala akong pamasahe papuntang Bangkok or wala akong extra time kaya hindi ako nakakapunta dun. Since bakasyon ko pa, sinandya ko nang pumunta ng Bangkok para makasimba ulit sa Ekamai at para mabisita ang batang ito -- ang baby boy ni Babes. Hehe. Pahirapan ang pagkuha ng mga pictures na 'to kasi sensitive si Balong. hehehe. :D Can't wait to see you again para makarga ka, liit mo pa kasi, natatakot akong kargahin ka baka ka madurog. hehehe

Sergio and Kim Sam Soon

Okay. Due to public demand, nagkaroon ng SP (as in special episode) sina Sergio at Kim Sam Soon! Ang shooting, saan pa e di sa Thailand!!!! Ahahaha

Nag-assist kasi ako sa WEM (Water Environmental Management) para sa conference nila on "An International Perspective on Environmental and Water Resources" para may magawa buong break at para hindi rin ako masyadong malungkot ngayon pasko. So, nagsimula ang conference noong Lunes, Enero 6, 2009 pero Linggo pa lang nandun na kami sa AITCC, yung venue ng conference kasi start na ng registration. Around 6:30pm, may mamang dumating. Pauwi na dapat ako nun e. Nagparegister. Gwapo. Nakuha agad ang atensyon ng lola n'yo, pero quiet lang ako. Tapos lumapit sa desk namin kasi kami yung nag-aayos at nagsa-save ng mga presentations ng mga speakers. Nagtanong siya kung pwede daw ba siyang magprint ng something para sa presentation pero edit muna niya. Si Ate Mimi naman, nakahalata yata na type ko si mama kaya ayun ang sabi niya sa kanya, ako daw ang tutulong sa mama. So dapat sasamahan ko na siya, e sabi niya punta muna siya sa room niya tapos balik siya. Ako naman, di ko na siya nahintay kasi hinihintay ako ni Kissy nun.

Oh well, pagdating ko kina Kissy mega-kuwento ako sa kanila na may bagong lalaki sa buhay ko, pero super panandalian lang kasi tatlong araw ko lang siya makikita. Hahaha. Biglang naloka ang mga tao kasi ang akala nila, gusto ko pa rin yung dati kong gusto. Nga pala, nakalimutan kong sabihin, hindi ko na gusto yung dati. Tagal na! Ahaha.

So ayun na nga, kuwento ako, na Mexicano si mama at Said ang pangalan. Sabi ko pa, "sasaidin ko ang kagwapuhan ni Said." Siyempre etchos lang yun, para naman keri ng beauty ko ang mga ganung bagay-bagay at parang ang ganda ko naman masyado, konti lang naman! Ahaha.

E di ayun, dumating ang Lunes, nabusy ang mga bakla!!! Sa kalagitnaan ng kangaragan ko, biglang may napakagandang tanawin ang bumungad sa harapan ko, tapos nagsalita. Shet, siya pala yun. Todo ngiti naman ako. Nagpa-chek kung tama yung Thai version ng "Thank you" kasi daw he can't afford to make mistakes at that time. Ayyy, seryoso ang lolo mo!!! Well, tama naman ang version niya.

Presentation niya ng 10:30 am. I was planning to see his presentation pero stuck ako sa post ko sa registration. So walang nangyari pero nagkasalubong kami sa corridor at nagpalitan ng friendly na ngiti. Haha. Duda ako sa pagka-friendly ko.

Tuesday, hinanap ko siya. Akala ko kasi naglagalag na si mama. Wala na siyang gagawin e. Mamaya-maya, nasa ayun, nakita ko ulit. Ang gwapo. Naka-long sleeves si mama. Sabi ko kay Ate Mimi, may kahawig siya e. Tapos yun na nga, natagpuan ko ang mahiwagang larawan niya na kuha ni Kuya Ruel, ang official photographer ng conference. Copy paste. Photoshop. Multiply. Instant blog.

During lunch time, muntik na akong tumabi sa kanya pero nakita ko yung mga Pinoy na participants so, dun na lang ako. E katapat lang ng table namin yung table niya. Ahaha. Nakikita niya akong naaanghangan, actually. Nagkakatinginan kami e nag-iinarte pa ako. Hay naku, ewan ko. E sa dinner magri-river cruise kami. Akala ko makaka-score na ako, hmp. Hindi pala. Pagdating namin sa River Cruise, ang layo niya sa akin. Kainis. Oh well.

Last day ng conference, Wednesday.Naku, busy si mama. Laging nagsosolo. Simula nung Lunes, nagsosolo lang talaga siya. Busy mag-internet sa lobby. Naka-MAC si mama, ganda ng laptop.

Nag-lunch, naku, nakita ko mag-isa siya sa table. e kasama ko si Kuya Aldrin. Wala. Dun ako kay Kuya Aldrin lumapit. Dumating si Ate Mimi, sabi niya, bakit hindi ko raw lapitan si mama, walang kasama. Sabi ko, "lapitan mo na lang tapos lapit ako sa'yo mamaya." Style ba, para di masyado obvious. Nagsusumixteen e. ahaha

After nun, sabi ni Kuya Aldrin, go na, wag na akong mahiya. Nung nihatid ko si Ate Ruth sa table niya, tinawag ako ni Ate Mimi. Lapit naman ako. Ayun na. Ahaha. PInakilala kami ni Ate Mimi. "Said, this is my friend, Sharon. She helps me with the registration," sabi ni Ate Mimi sa kanya.

Inabot niya kamay niya sabay sabi, "Hi. Yah, I know."

Tapos ayun na. Start na ng usapan. At napagkasunduan na lalabas kami, siyempre with Ate Mimi and Ate Ruth since may sasakyan si Ate Mimi. Sabi kasi ni Said, 20 oras ang biyahe niya pabalik ng Mexico at 8am ang flight niya, mamaya yun. So sabi ni Ate Mimi, igala namin siya kahit konti para naman naman hindi siya masyadong kawawa. Oh well, advantage sa akin! Kaya GO! Sunggabin ang opportunity.

Ayun. Natapos ang conference. Punta kaming Bangkok. Kumain. Umuwi. hahaha

Siyempre nagkuwentuhan kami. Hahaha.

Sabi niya, mahilig siya sa Rock Music. Mahilig rin siya sa movies. Fave niya si Nicole Kidman. Nagtuturo siya ng swimming sa mga kids at gusto niya yun. Bunso siya at may dalawang ate. Haha. Baby daw siya sa kanila. Nagwork siya after graduation niya for three years as civil engineer. Ngayon, first year siya sa kanyang PhD. Sumasayaw siya pero hindi daw niya masyadong hilig yun. Mas gusto niya ang rock music at fave niya ang Rolling Stones. Oh diba, rakista! Though hindi daw siya marunong tumugtog ng kahit na anong musical instruments. hahaha. May tattoo si mama sa kaliwang braso.

Buong time namin sa Bangkok, nagchicikahan kami. Wala lang. Tungkol sa movies, ganun. Kung may napanood na raw akong Mexican movies. Sabi ko naman, tatlo pa lang yata, at pare-parehong si Gael ang bida. May binaggit pa siyang mga direktor at iba pang critically acclaimed na mga movies, di ko lang maalala kasi espanyol ito at hindi niya ma-english. hehe

Tanong pa niya, bakit daw ganun. Halos pareho ang history ng Mexico at Pilipinas, bakit hindi tayo nagsasalita ng espanyol. Naku, e di lumabas na ang mga PI 100 lectures ko. Ahaha. At ayun, may Intro to Mexico 101 na ni-lecture sa akin.

Hinintay niya ako lumabas ng CR kasi naiwan ko yung bag ko e paalis na kami sa resto. Tinanong din niya ako kelan ako babalik ng Pinas. Sabi ko, matagal pa. Reply niya, magbabakasyon daw siya sa Australia sa May. Ahahaha. Wala lang.

Gentleman si mama, kasi dun siya sa side na may mga kotse pumipwesto pag naglalakad kami. Pero, may konting akbay. Hmmm.. Nasesense niya yata na may gusto ako sa kanya. Tapos sabi niya, dapat daw sumayaw ako dun sa river cruise kasi sumayaw daw siya. HAhahahaha. Hay naku.

Ang saya niya kausap, actually. Akala ko nung una mahiyain si mama, mahiyain naman, pero machika. Sabi niya, nagtataka daw siya kung pano siya nakaka-english kasi hindi daw talaga siya madalas nag-e-english. Ahehe. I had a great time with him. It's just sad kasi uuwi na siya ng Mexico. Hehe. Pero keri lang. Kunyari si Cinderella na lang ako, Korean version nga lang. At siya si Sergio, ang bagong prince charming.

At ala-una ang curfew. Ahahahaha.

Ahaha, at hanggang kaya kong makanakaw ng tingin, sulyap at kung anumang malayuang panghahalay, gagawin ko dahil panandalian lamang ang kaligayahang ito, hanggang wednesday lang. At ito lang naman ang kaya kong gawin para sa mga bagay na hinding-hindi ko maaangkin. CHOZ!

Kapag nga naman wala kang tulog at tatanga-tanga ka...

NABURA KO LAHAT NG PICTURES NA NAKA-SAVE SA PICTURE FOLDER NG LAPTOP KO!!! At wala akong back-up copy ng mga yun. In-empty ko pa yung recycle bin ko kasi kelangan ko ng espasyo. Hay, katangahan naman talaga! Ngayon, wala na. Ang dami ko pa man ding hindi pa naa-upload.

Now, I'm really depressed.

Laui

She got me pissed off over a piece of pan de coco during the time when I was struggling to cure the high uric acid concentration in my body. She argued that the coconut is the biggest seed and since the filling of pan de coco is made from coconut, I shouldn't eat it. Haha... Of course, she was just being funny and witty, and she didn't mean to piss me off.

She usually drag me to Yellow Cab, Avenetto, Choco Kiss, Chef de Angelo and the likes just to have a mouth-watering meal even when we were both broke. And when we're "really" broke, we would go to Chowking to share an order of tofu or kangkong with extra soup for a day's meal.

She accompanied me to Laguna once when I was so depressed over a stupidity. Then she told me I deserve someone better, someone who will not make me cry. And when I did not care to listen, she was just waiting for me to get to my senses, praying that one day I'll make a better decision and choose my own well-being. I think she prayed earnestly, and I have to thank her for that.

She introduced me to Yamapi, and how we loved Shuuji and Akira. Now, everytime I see Yamapi and the series "Nobuta wo produce", there's a smile written on my face. I got to watch Korean/Taiwanese/Japanese dramas even before they were aired in Philippine TV because she was so hooked watching those and it was so much fun watching them with her.

Her apartment is always a place for 'rehabilitation' and everytime I need a place to stay, her place is the first thing that pops into my head.

She does many wonderful things for her friends, and I am so grateful that I am one of them.

It's her 29th birthday today, and I am still broke to give her a present. However, I wish her all the wonderful things that she deserves, and thank her for everything. Sorry, this is all I can afford for the moment.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAUI!

After Ayutthaya and Before See-You-Soon

After naming mag-Ayutthaya, nagpunta kami sa Bangkok, may nag-Patphong at may naiwan sa coffee shop. Hehe. Nagpaiwan kami nina Gio at Kissy sa Coffee World para mag-usap-usap tungkol sa lalaking (dating) gusto ko! Ayun, na-convince naman ako ni Gio na nahihibang lang talaga ako!!! Ahahaha...

After nun, siyempre uwian na, Pero kinabukasan, balik kami nina Dazzie at Amer sa Bangkok para mag-shopping sa Pantip at sa Jatujak. Ayun, mga 8pm, umuwi na ako. 11pm, lumipad na sila pauwing Pinas at matagal ko pa ulit sila bago makita... huhuhuhu... Miss ko na sila ngayon... :(

Elepante Ride

Dahil pagkatapos ng midterms ay para na akong zombie na naglalakad sa kalsada at halos hindi na nakakatulog dahil nginangarag kami ng mga prof namin, ngayon ko lang mapo-post ang mga picture na 'to -- Elephant Ride sa Ayutthaya. Imagine, October pa 'to! Kaloka ang kabisihan ko.

After naming ubusin ang mga battery ng cam namin sa Wat Chaiwattanaram, eto, sumakay sa elephant at nagbayad ng 200 para sa 10 minutong pagsakay kay Boonga (pangalan nung elepante!)

Weird

There's a weird sight in front of my dorm today - a bike hanging on a tree.

I don't know how it got there and whose bike is it, but it's there and it's weird. There are bike parking lanes here so I am not sure why someone put that bike there. Whoever did that was probably bored or something. Weird things happen during final exams, you know. Ahaha.
